Interview to AEMC head Louis Nelson (2021, unpublished)

A detailed conversation with the Ambient and Experimental Music Community founder. About the influence of Soviet childhood, about my understanding of experimentalism, about inspiration, compositional methods and the desire to expand the audience.
This message exchange lasted two and a half months and ended a couple of weeks before the full-scale invasion. Now I would place emphasis differently, and my musical practice has changed noticeably - but more on that in another interview.

Interview to Ukrainian Field Notes (2024)

Interview conducted by Gian Marco del Re, co-founder of the A Closer Listen website and initiator of the large-scale Ukrainian Field Notes project.

How the full-scale invasion changed the way I think about sound and how it impacted on my musical practice. How I experience changes in the acoustic ecology of Kyiv, how I feel about wartime trigger sounds and their use in music. How the full-scale invasion prompted me to rediscover  Ukrainian musical heritage and has it made me question notions of identity?
