Wartime Piano Impromptus
These improvisations arose as an attempt to cope with the abundance of powerful, poorly controlled emotions and feelings, such as fear, hatred, helplessness, fatalism, pride, hope, faith and gratitude, which overwhelmed me with the outbreak of full-scale hostilities in my country.
All improvisations were performed on the Pianissimo Acoustic Grand virtual piano, with the exception of (3), performed on the kalimba.
The original takes were slightly edited, but on the whole they retained their emotionality and spontaneity.
